Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. soft shortening
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. mashed ripe banana
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs (unbeaten)
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Stir flour, baking powder, soda and salt with electric beater at medium speed.
Blend shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat until light and fluffy, then at low speed, beat flour mixture alternately with bananas, just until smooth.
Turn into pan.
Bake 1 hour.
Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove.
Cool overnight before slicing.
