Suffern Inn Salad(24 Hours) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 small onion, minced or 2 Tbsp. chives
    2 c. (10 oz. pkg.) frozen peas
    1 c. (4 oz.) Swiss cheese or Cheddar strips
    salt and pepper
    2 c. torn lettuce
    8 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
Preparation
    Mix mayonnaise, lemon and onion; add 2 cups of frozen peas and Swiss or Cheddar cheese strips, salt and pepper.
    Chill for 24 hours.
    Serve mixed with 2 cups torn lettuce and 8 slices bacon, crumbled.
    Next day leftovers taste even better.
    Serves 6.
