Barbecued Meats - Turkish Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef or lamb (or combine 1 lb. each)
    1/2 c. well chopped onion
    1 pkg. slivered almonds
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and mix together well.
    Shape into small links and barbecue.
    They are excellent when stuffed in pita pocket bread, and you can add lettuce, tomatoes, or whatever you prefer.
