Oregano Batter Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    3/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 tsp. fennel seed
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large mixing bowl.
    Scald milk, then cool to lukewarm.
    Add milk, sugar, salt, oregano leaves, egg, oil and 2 cups of the flour to the yeast.
    Beat on high speed with electric mixer for 3 minutes. Beat longer if beating by hand. Stir in remaining flour. Set in warm place free from draft and let rise to double in bulk, about 1 hour.
