M&M'S Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
3 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. Gold Medal flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. bag M&M's

Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Mix thoroughly shortening, butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
Blend in remaining ingredients.
Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
Makes about 6 dozen large cookies.
