Maple Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 tsp. maple flavoring or black walnut flavoring
Preparation
    Combine water, sugar and brown sugar in a saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
    Let mixture boil slowly, uncovered, over low heat for five minutes.
    Add maple flavoring.
    Makes 2 cups.
