Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix, baked
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding, prepared
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 bananas, sliced
    1 (16 oz.) tub Cool Whip
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Crumble cool, baked cake.
    Layer half of cake crumbs in punch bowl.
    Top with 1/2 each of pudding, pie filling, drained pineapple, banana and Cool Whip.
    Repeat layers using remaining 1/2 of each of the ingredients.
    Garnish with pecans and cherries.
