1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped pecans
40 chocolate kisses
powdered sugar
Preparation

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla on medium speed until fluffy. Add flour and finely chopped nuts.
Beat on low speed just until blended.
Chill dough.
Unwrap candies.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Shape 1 tablespoon of dough around each candy and form into a ball.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 12 minutes or until cookies are set but not browned.
Cool slightly before rolling in powdered sugar.
Cool and store airtight.
