English "Fly" Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar, softened
    3 eggs
    2 c. raisins
    8 oz. self-rising flour
    2 oz. stick margarine
    2 oz. lard
Preparation
    Mix flour with margarine and lard until consistency of bread crumbs.
    Add 1 or 2 teaspoons cold water.
    Mix into stiff dough. Roll out to form pastry base.
    Bake base at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
