Pecan Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
16 oz (2 c.) Karo dark corn syrup
2 lb. pecans, chopped
2 sticks (1/2 lb.) butter or margarine, melted
15 eggs, well beaten by hand
5 unbaked 9-inch pie shells
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup and melted butter.
Add beaten eggs and pecans to syrup mixture, mixing thoroughly.
Pour filling into pie shells.
Bake in oven at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Cool.
Pies can be frozen for future use.
