Custard Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    1 large egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine flour with baking powder, salt and sugar into large mixing bowl.
    Add shortening and milk and mix.
    Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed of electric mixer.
    Add remaining 1/4 cup milk, egg and vanilla.
    Beat 2 minutes longer.
    Use rubber spatula.
    Pour into baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
