Two Step Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes (red or new)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until almost tender; cool.
    Peel and grate.
    In 9 x 12-inch baking dish put grated potatoes; sprinkle dry ingredients over potatoes.
    Also sprinkle cheese over the top. Pour over top the heavy cream.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until browned and tender (30 to 45 minutes).
