Sherried Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium size sweet potatoes
1 tsp. salt
water
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
4 Tbsp. creamed sherry
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

In 4-quart saucepan over high heat, heat sweet potatoes, salt and water (enough to cover the potatoes).
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes, until tender.
Drain and peel potatoes.
Mix the sweet potatoes and butter on low speed.
Add remaining ingredients and mix on medium speed until light and fluffy.
