Frank'S Mohawk Valley Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 Tbsp. chili powder (or more to taste)
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    dash or 2 of garlic powder
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    16 oz. can red kidney beans
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Saute meat in big frying pan; drain fat.
    Do not overcook the meat.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
