Tabbouleh Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 3/4 c. cracked wheat
    5 to 8 spring onions, chopped
    2 to 3 bunches parsley, chopped
    3 to 4 tomatoes, chopped
    juice of 2 to 3 lemons
    1/4 to 1/2 c. salad oil
    salt and pepper to taste
    chopped mint sprigs (if desired)
Preparation
    Cook wheat in water for a few minutes.
    Squeeze out excess water.
    Mix all ingredients together and serve with lettuce or parboiled cabbage leaves.
