Ingredients

3/4 c. unsalted butter
2 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. ground cardamon
2 c. shredded unsweetened coconut
Preparation

Combine butter and powdered sugar; beat well until creamy. Blend in the flour and cardamon.
Add coconut, stirring until dough does not stick to your hands.
Roll out on wax paper about 1/2 inch thick.
Cut into pieces with a cookie cutter.
Bake on wax-papered cookie sheet for 20 minutes or until golden brown at 300\u00b0.
Makes 40 pieces.
