Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. sauerkraut, rinsed
    1/2 c. onions, finely diced
    1/2 c. green pepper, finely diced
    1/2 c. celery, finely diced
    1/2 c. shredded carrots
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Mix together the sugar and vinegar; bring to a boil.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Add oil.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Chill overnight.
