Indian Fry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. warm water
Preparation

Mix all ingredients to a consistent bread dough and roll out in sections.
Sprinkle each section with flour or corn meal.
With each ball or section about 1/4-inch thick, punch hole into center and fry, one at a time in 2 to 3-inches of shortening at 400\u00b0 for 3 to 5 minutes.
Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
