Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. dates or raisins
1 c. nuts, chopped
4 c. raw apples, sliced
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients and mix.
Add nuts and raisins; mix.
Add sliced apples and mix.
Place in well-greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Remove from oven and frost.
