Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 1/4 c. milk
3 eggs, separated
1 baked 9-inch pie shell
1/8 tsp. salt
3/8 c. sugar
Preparation

Place butter in saucepan; melt in low heat and remove. Combine flour, sugars and salt in bowl.
Stir in milk.
Pour into butter saucepan and bring to a boil.
Stir in beaten eggs and cook for 2 minutes.
Add meringue and bake 10 minutes.
