Fig Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco oil
    3 eggs
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. figs
Preparation
    Cream sugar, oil and eggs together; add flour, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, soda, salt, buttermilk and nuts.
    Stir in figs.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
