Chruschedi(Polish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. cold water
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 Tbsp. rum flavoring (optional)
Preparation
    Put all ingredients, except flour, in a bowl and beat until well mixed.
    Stir in flour and chill 1/2 hour; roll mixture very paper thin on floured board.
    Cut into 1/4-inch strips.
    Make a small lengthwise slit in the center.
    Roll 1 end through slit to make a bow.
    Deep fry in hot oil or shortening until golden brown. Dish with powdered sugar.
    Cool.
