Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
2 to 4 c. peanuts
1 Tbsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cook sugar, syrup and water until it forms a soft ball when tried in water (236\u00b0).
Add peanuts and cook until mixture is amber colored (294\u00b0).
Remove from stove and add salt and soda mixture.
Stir thoroughly and pour onto greased cookie sheet.
