Nine Day Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cabbage
    2 small onions
    2 small bell peppers
    3/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Grate first 3 ingredients together.
    Place the next 5 ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Pour liquid mixture over cabbage mixture.
    Refrigerate in a covered container.
