Kathy'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Blend in flour.
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Roll dough 1/8-inch thick on lightly floured surface.
    Cut into desired shapes.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Cook only about 3 minutes.
    Take out when bottoms are lightly browned.
    Watch them closely; they are easy to burn.
