Sweet Pickles From Dills - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. dills (buy the cheaper ones)
    1/2 water
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 vinegar
Preparation
    Drain juice of dill pickles and pour boiling water over them and let cool.
    Slice pickles, either across or the long way and cover with the following syrup:
    Boil sugar, water and vinegar. Pour over pickles.
    Refrigerate until ready to eat (3 or 4 days). If you wish, you can add pickling spices tied in cheesecloth to the syrup when bringing to a boil.
    These are delicious.
