Quick Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. hot water
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. light brown sugar
    2/3 c. oleo or butter, softened
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Dissolve the soda in hot water.
    Cream sugar and butter thoroughly. Add eggs and soda mixtures, beating until smooth.
    Add flour and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Drop teaspoonfuls of dough 2-inches apart onto lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes. Yields 6 dozen.
