Autumn Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 pkg. lemon jello
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. Cool Whip
    1 c. diced eating apples
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chopped celery
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine pineapple in juice and sugar.
    Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes.
    Add lemon jello.
    Stir until dissolved. Add softened cream cheese and Cool Whip.
    Fold in apples, celery and nuts.
    Chill until firm.
