Ingredients

4 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 c. flaked coconut
toasted flaked coconut
Preparation

Combine the first 6 ingredients; beat well.
Stir in 1 cup coconut.
Pour into pastry shell.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until set.
Cool on a wire rack.
Garnish with toasted coconut if desired.
Yields 1 (9-inch) pie.
