Sweet-Sour Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans whole green beans, drained
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    3/4 c. cider vinegar
    4 Tbsp. salad oil
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 large white onions, sliced in rings
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Drain and rinse green beans to remove canned taste.
    In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, water, vinegar, salad oil, garlic and onions.
    Add beans and mix gently.
    Cover and let stand overnight in refrigerator.
    Before serving, add salt and pepper to taste.
