Ingredients

1 c. oleo
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Cream together the oleo, sugar and eggs.
Gradually add the flour, baking soda, vanilla, salt and cream of tartar.
Chill. Roll out 1/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters.
Bake at 400\u00b0 (350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for electric oven) for 6 to 8 minutes.
