Gingercreams(No Fail Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 c. all-purpose or whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix sugar, water, molasses, shortening and egg.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cover; refrigerate 1 hour.
