Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. oleo
1 egg yolk
3 Tbsp. water
3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients first and add the rest.
Cook and stir constantly over medium heat until thick.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour in baked pie shell and cover with meringue.
Brown in oven. Triple for 2 large pies.
