Pea Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. carrots
    1 c. onions
    1 c. celery
    1/4 c. butter
    1 can beer (12 oz.)
    1 c. beef broth
    2 cans split pea soup with ham (11 1/2 oz. can)
Preparation
    Saute vegetables in butter for 10 minutes.
    Add soup, beer and broth; mix.
    Simmer 10 minutes or until beer stops foaming.
