Cherry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. coconut
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. soda cracker crumbs
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 cans cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients.
    Melt butter; pour over mixture and mix well.
    Reserve some crumbs for topping.
    Press into bottom and sides of jelly roll pan.
    Cover with cherry pie filling.
    Sprinkle with crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour, then at 300\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Serves about 20.
