Gingersnap Stew(Serves 100) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

25 lb. stew meat (beef)
10 lb. potatoes, cubed
10 lb. carrots, sliced
10 lb. onions, diced
8 bay leaves
1 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 c. vinegar
2 boxes gingersnaps
pepper and salt to taste
Preparation

Brown meat. Add enough water to cover completely. Add onions, bay leaves, salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar. Cook, covered, in oven until meat is tender.
Remove meat. Add vegetables. Cook until tender. Remove vegetables.
Use rolling pin to mash gingersnaps.
Add to juice. Cook on stovetop until thickened. Combine all ingredients. Heat!
