Kentucky Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 tsp. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
6 egg whites
White Buttercream (recipe follows)

Preparation

You will need roses and baby's breath for garnish.
