Silver Dollar Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg or 2 egg yolks
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over sugar, shortening and salt in mixing bowl.
    Cool to lukewarm and add yeast, softened in 1/4 cup water. Add beaten egg or egg yolks and mix well.
    Add about half the flour and beat until smooth.
    Add remaining flour and stir to mix thoroughly.
    Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled, approximately 1 hour.
    Stir down and fill greased muffin pans half full.
    Cover and let rise until doubled, approximately 1/2 hour. Bake at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    When baked, brush tops with melted butter.
