Red Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sour milk or cream
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and shortening; add eggs and mix well. In another bowl mix vinegar and soda.
    Pour milk into vinegar mixture and add to sugar and shortening mixture.
    Sift together flour, salt and cocoa and add to the mixture.
    Beat well; add boiling water, stirring constantly.
    When well mixed, add vanilla. Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan or 2 (9-inch) round pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
