Ingredients

1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. finely chopped pecans
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
confectioners sugar
Preparation

In large bowl, combine all ingredients (except confectioners sugar).
Mix by hand.
Refrigerate 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Form into 1 1/4-inch balls.
Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until set, but not brown.
Let stand 1 minute.
Remove to wire rack to partially cool.
Roll in confectioners sugar while warm.
Cool completely. Before serving, re-roll in powdered sugar.
