Finnish Rieska(Flat Bread) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. white flour
    1 1/2 c. barley flour
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
    1 tsp. soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. shortening
Preparation
    Add soda to milk.
    Mix dry ingredients first, then work in shortening.
    Stir in milk and soda until a soft dough.
    Divide in half.
    Pat to 1/2-inch thick and bake on cookie sheet in a 400\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
