Judson'S Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yeast cake
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1 c. scalded milk
    2 eggs
    6 to 8 c. flour
Preparation
    Set oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mash potatoes, add fat, sugar, salt and eggs; cream.
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Add to milk.
    Add to potato mixture.
    Add flour, knead, let rise 5 hours in lightly greased bowl.
    Punch down and keep in refrigerator until 1 hour before baking.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
