Jello Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. crushed pineapple
    1 c. pecan pieces
    2 c. hot water
    1 pkg. strawberry jello
    1 pkg. raspberry jello
    1 box vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Cream sugar, egg yolks and butter.
    Melt jello in hot water and add to above mixture.
    Add pineapple and pecans.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex.
    Crush vanilla wafers and spread over the top.
    Refrigerate.
    Serve after it sets up.
