Potato (Hash Brown) Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) bag frozen, cube style hash browns
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of chicken soup (may vary)
    1/2 c. chopped onion or 2 to 3 Tbsp. minced
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and pour into baking dish or dishes.
    Top with crushed corn flakes and dribble melted butter on top or bake without topping at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Can be separated and frozen until ready to bake.
    Cut to 45 minutes if separated.
