Fruit Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. margarine, softened
    4 eggs
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (21 oz.) can pie filling (any flavor)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan. In a large bowl, cream together sugar and margarine until well blended. Break eggs into large glass measuring cup. Beat with fork. Add vanilla to eggs. Add egg mixture to margarine and sugar. Beat until well blended. Gradually add flour. Mix thoroughly. Pour batter into greased jelly roll pan. Spread evenly. Cut through batter to make 24 squares. Place 1 heaping teaspoonful of pie filling onto center of each square. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes until lightly browned.
