Ingredients

4 lb. small tender okra
3/4 c. plain salt
8 c. pure vinegar
10 cloves garlic
1 c. water
10 pods red or green hot pepper
Preparation

Wash okra (be sure pods are small), leaving short stems on pods.
Pack in hot, clean jars.
Place one pepper pod and one clove of garlic in each jar.
