Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. apples, chopped (I prefer Jonathan's)
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. English walnuts (leave in fairly large pieces)
    3/4 c. oil
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Cream eggs and sugar until creamy.
    Add oil and blend well. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to sugar mixture.
    This batter will be thick.
    Fold in chopped apples and then add vanilla.
    Sprinkle butterscotch chips on top.
    Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes or until done.
    No frosting is necessary.
    If you prefer, serve cake warm with whipped cream.
