Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
    1 (9-inch) pie crust
    strawberries
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook sugar, water, cornstarch and Jell-O until syrupy.
    Bake pie crust.
    Let cool.
    Put strawberries in crust.
    Pour filling over strawberries.
    Place in refrigerator and allow to congeal. Serve with Cool Whip.
