Weihnachtkuchen(Fruit Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shelled pecans (halves)
    1 lb. dates (whole)
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    4 eggs, beaten until fluffy
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix and sift dry ingredients over fruit and nuts; mix until well coated.
    Pour into loaf pan (bottom lined with waxed paper); bake in slow oven (275\u00b0) for 1 1/2 hours.
    Let stand 2 to 3 days before cutting (after taking out of pan).
