White Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening (butter)
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. baking soda in 2 Tbsp. cream or milk
    2 tsp. cream of tartar (in flour)
Preparation
    Roll out thin. Bake at 325\u00b0 until light brown.
